Maggie Clausell holds a B.S. degree from Tuskegee Institute, a M.S. and Ph.D. from Cornell University. She obtained her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.

Maggie Clausell is a member of the Delaware Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District of Delaware Court and United States Court Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Her professional memberships include the Delaware State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

Maggie Clausell is a tenured Associate Professor at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware.

Maggie Clausell is a Registered Dietitian (R.D.), credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. She has a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University.

She is member of the World Future Society and a student of future studies. She is President of The Futures Project, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to education, advocacy and outreach in the areas of education, health, community economic development, and criminal justice.
